Hotstamping and embossing
Ennobling paper Surface is imperative. It’s what gives character to the final product. There are many ways to ennoble it:
Different types of lamination (gloss, matte, soft-touch)
- Selective laquers
- Selective glitter
- Embossing and debossing
Hot-stamping is the most popular method for placing words or images, with use of hot and protruded die.
Between die and material there is thin foil infused with glue and pigment, which sticks to the work piece in spots of most pressure. This technique allows placing metallic, glossy, matte or other pigments. It’s suited for flat surfaces, either wrapping material of varying thickness or even finished products.
Materials can be embossed or debossed. Depending on the work piece we either prepare die, or die and its negative.
